KABUL: Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, stated that the country is currently in an all-out war against the occupying regime of Israel, the U.S., and Europe.
He made the remarks recently in an interview with KHAMENEI.IR, an Iranian media outlet, with a version on Saturday night, by IRNA.
The Iranian President revealed an undeclared war between Tehran and the aforementioned countries, which he claimed is “worse than the Iran-Iraq War.” He alleged that the occupying regimes of Israel, the U.S., and Europe do not want Iran to stand on its own feet.
Pezeshkian stated, “If one understands well, this war is much more complex and harder than that war.”
The Iran-Iraq War began in 1980 and lasted for eight years. While comparing the tensions between Iran, the occupying regime of Israel, and Western powers to that earlier conflict, the President noted that Iran is facing unprecedented economic pressure on the international stage.
This conflict appears to revolve around Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
