KABUL: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, along with U.S. President Donald Trump and several leaders of the European Union, held a joint dialogue on Sunday night regarding the peace plan for Ukraine.
French President Emmanuel Macron said in a post on his X that a “Volunteers Coalition” is set to be formed in early January in Paris to ensure Ukraine’s security, with each member responsible for their share of contributions to the security guarantees for the country.
He emphasized that the main focus for a just peace in Ukraine is credible security guarantees, which are currently in progress.
Additionally, Macron stated that he had a bilateral conversation with Zelensky following the joint dialogue among the leaders of the U.S., Europe, and Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump remarked after discussions with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts that the issue of Ukraine’s territorial integrity remains unresolved between Kyiv and Moscow.
He added that this matter will also be addressed in the coming weeks.
