KABUL: A number of Turkish investors from
“Kota Insaat” company in a meeting with Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour the Minister of Water and Energy, said that they are interested in investing in water dams, electricity, and water supply projects, according to a statement from the ministry today.
Minister Mansour welcomed Turkey’s readiness to invest and suggested projects such as the Gambiri irrigation and power generation dam, the water supply from Sayaad Kapisa to the New Kabul City, and the water supply project for Lalandar Shatoot to Kabul.
He also assured his led ministry’s full support with the aforementioned investors.
According to the statement, they announced their readiness to begin technical evaluations and subsequent stages following the Minister’s proposals.
Additionally, it was reported that yesterday, some Iranian investors also expressed their readiness to invest in the transfer of water from the Panjshir River to Kabul during a meeting with the Minister of Water and Energy.
