KABUL: In a recent move, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the ambassadors from Britain, Germany, Italy, and France.
According to Tasnim news agency, officials in Iran showed these ambassadors a video of the ongoing protests and violence, requesting that they relay this information to their respective foreign ministers.
Tehran has also urged the ambassadors to retract recent statements made by their countries regarding the demonstrators in Iran.
This action comes after France, Italy, Germany, and Britain criticized the Iranian government’s treatment of protesters, with some countries publicly expressing support for the demonstrators.
