GHOR: The Ghor security forces have arrested two individuals along with 91 kilograms of “Ice” (methamphetamine) on the outskirts of the province.
The media office of the Ghor Police Command in a statement said that the suspects were detained in Tanur, village of Alahyar district during operations.
The police stated that the arrested individuals are originally from Herat province and are currently under the custody of security forces.
Preliminary investigations are underway regarding this case, and upon completion of the inquiries, the suspects’ files will be forwarded to judicial authorities.
While the statement indicated that the two were drug traffickers, it did not specify where the drugs were being transported. “Ice,” also known as methamphetamine, is categorized as an industrial narcotic.
