KABUL: The Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled has distributed over 11.7 billion Afghanis to orphans, widows, and individuals with disabilities across the country in the current solar year.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, in a statement today, said that the mentioned funds have been transferred as monthly allowances for 650,000 individuals in the center and all provinces, credited to their bank accounts.
He assured that the distribution process for the rights of orphans, widows, and persons with disabilities is fully transparent.
He emphasized that the cash assistance distribution process for these individuals is ongoing.
In addition to monthly cash distributions, assistance for orphaned children from both government and non-government organizations continues in the country.
