DOHA: Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, the Afghan ambassador to Qatar, met with Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab, the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, the IEA embassy said in a statement today.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues, including joint cooperation in modernizing Afghanistan’s agriculture, trade, tourism, and other significant issues.
Bilateral relations between Kabul and Doha, as well as investments in Afghanistan, were also key subjects of discussion.
At the end of the meeting, both the Afghan ambassador and the Qatari special representative emphasized the need to expand and enhance bilateral cooperation.
Qatar has maintained close political, economic, and commercial relations with Afghanistan for over four years.
