Around 2.8 million Afghan refugees returned; thousands of jeribs of land distributed to them

KABUL: Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, has stated that approximately 2.8 million Afghan refugees have been forcibly returned over the past year, with initial services provided to them by the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations.

According to Radio Omid correspondent, during a public gathering titled “National Unity, Survival of the Islamic System, and Welfare of the People,” he noted that to date, more than 3,000 jeribs of land have been allocated to Afghan refugees.

Additionally, the Islamic Emirate has distributed 12 billion Afghanis in cash to the impoverished, orphans, and disabled individuals over the past year.

Fitrat also mentioned that, economically, several projects worth $10 billion have been signed with Afghan businessman Mirwais Azizi.
