HERAT: The Herat Police Forces have successfully arrested a seven-member gang of professional thieves and brought them to justice.
Security officials of the Herat province said that the gang was apprehended following multiple operations in areas related to the 13th PD, and 13 vehicles, including 12 motorcycles and one car, were recovered from the arrested thieves.
Herat Police officials calling individuals as “professional thieves” asserted that the detained individuals were involved in theft in various parts of Herat city, disrupting the peace of the community.
Herat, a key port province in the west of the country, has previously seen the dismantling of other criminal gangs and professional thieves by law enforcement.
