Contract for transporting hajj pilgrims in 1405 signed with two domestic companies

KABUL: The Ministry of Hajj, and Religious Affairs said in a statement on Sunday night that it has signed a contract for the transportation of thousands of pilgrims for the Hajj in 1405 with two domestic companies.
According to the statement, the contract, was signed between Mawlavi Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, and the heads of the Ariana Afghan and Kam Air airlines.
The two domestic airlines will transport this year’s pilgrims from airports in four zones of Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia according to a scheduled timetable.
Additionally, these companies are obliged to return Afghan pilgrims to the designated four zones in Afghanistan after the conclusion of the Hajj.
The statement noted that the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs will continuously oversee the implementation of the contracts, coordinate flights, and ensure the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
Every year, the ministry manages the Hajj process with well-organized pre-planned measures and aims to improve services for Afghan pilgrims.
