KABUL: Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has arrived in New Delhi, India, on an official visit.
His plane landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport today, where he was welcomed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport.
His visit to New Delhi reflects the strong friendship between the two countries.
Indian media have reported that during the meeting between Indian and UAE leaders, both sides emphasized the importance of robust and sustainable relations.
According to published information, the leaders highlighted strategic cooperation and shared interests in regional stability and economic collaboration between Abu Dhabi and New Delhi during their bilateral talks.
This marks Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s third visit since assuming the presidency of the UAE and his fifth visit to India in the past decade.
