Kremlin: Putin invited to join Gaza Peace Panel

KABUL: Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Kremlin, has confirmed that Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, has been invited to join the Gaza peace panel.
CNN reported on Monday night, that Peskov made the statement during a press conference, revealing that the Kremlin is currently reviewing the invitation and hopes to receive more details from the U.S.
Peskov noted that President Putin has also received a diplomatic invitation to join the panel.
Meanwhile, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus, has also received an invitation to join the Gaza peace panel. The ministry expressed gratitude to the U.S. for the invitation sent to Lukashenko.
The Gaza peace panel, recently announced by Donald Trump, will be responsible for overseeing the reconstruction of Gaza.
According to some reports, Trump has stated that leaders interested in joining this panel must contribute one billion dollars.
