KABUL: Hafiz Omar, the Acting Ambassador of Afghanistan in Oman, met with Goudavarti Venkata Srinivas, the Ambassador of India in the country.
The Afghan Embassy in Oman said in a statement on Monday that the two diplomats discussed various issues, including “political, economic, and bilateral trade matters.”
Hafiz Omar expressed hope that India would assist in facilitating visa issuance for Afghans residing in Oman.
The statement noted that both parties emphasized the importance of continuing durable bilateral cooperation.
This comes amid the growing political, economic, and commercial relations between Afghanistan and India.
