KABUL: Following the conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the announcement of a halt to attacks on his country’s energy infrastructure for the upcoming month, Reuters reported on Tuesday night.
The Ukrainian president, who was discussed during the Trump-Putin call, expressed hope to learn more details about the conversation between the U.S. President and his Russian counterpart.
According to reports, Volodymyr Zelensky spoke on the phone with the Presidents of Germany and France following the Trump-Putin discussion.
The U.S. President had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart on the fate of the war in Ukraine on Tuesday night.
