PUL-E-KHUMRI: Local officials of Baghlan said that the first polio immunization campaign launched in the province on Monday 29 January 2024.
The program was launched by local officials with dropping vaccines to children and 30,000 children under the age of five will be vaccinated in the province, provincial health officials said.
Provincial Public Health Director, Dr. Massoud Ahmadi, said that volunteer workers implementing the children’s polio vaccination campaign in the province.
Previously, the polio vaccination campaign had also been launched in several other provinces, including Herat and Kandahar.
