KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s spokesman, Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, in an interview with Al-Arabiya news agency, said that discussions regarding the control of Afghanistan’s embassy in the United States are underway with the officials of that country.
According to him, efforts are also underway to resume diplomatic relations between Kabul and Washington.
He mentioned these discussions regarding the Islamic Emirate’s control of the embassy in Washington at a time when a U.S. delegation recently visited Kabul.
Following the visit, the U.S. revoked a $10 million bounty on IEA high-ranking officials.
