KABUL: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Brazil.
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the BRICS foreign ministers’ conference in Rio de Janeiro.
The ministry quoted Wang Yi, as saying that competition between unilateralism and multilateralism has intensified, and a global contest for power is ongoing.
