Afghan embassy in Tashkent handed over the Islamic Emirate

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said that the Afghan embassy in Tashkent the capital of Uzbekistan was handed over to the Islamic Emirate.

It has been said, that Maghfurullah Shahab, the first secretary of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent has been appointed as caretaker of the Embassy in that country.

It was said, that recently the Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced two new diplomats to this embassy.

In the meantime, before Magfurullah Shahab, the previous government’s ambassador Ahmad Khalid Elmi was in charge of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent.

Meanwhile, the Afghan Embassy in Beijing said today [Monday, February 05] that it has started issuing passports to Afghans living in that country.

The Afghan Embassy in Beijing is starting the process of issuing new passports, while last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping accepted the credential letter of Mawlavi Asadullah Bilal Karimi, as ambassador and special envoy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to China.
