MAZAR-E-SHARIF: As many as 19 individuals were arrested over various crimes in the country’s northern province of Balkh, the provincial police press office said in a statement today [Tuesday].
According to the statement, the criminals were arrested by the anti-crime police personnel of the province over various crimes.
“At least 6 individuals arrested over robbery, 8 over immorality, and 5 others over gambling,” said the statement.
The detainees have been taken to the justice and judiciary organs for further investigations into their files.
It is worth mentioning that after the takeover of the country by the Islamic Emirate, efforts are underway to improve social order and remove vices from society.
