KABUL: Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, in a meeting with the Uzbekistan ambassador to Afghanistan Khajeh Yadgar Shadmanov discussed trade, transit, imported electricity, and other issues, said MoFA deputy spokesman.
The deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Ahmad Zia Takal, wrote on his official X platform that during the meeting, both sides discussed travel of high-level delegations between the two countries, bilateral trade, imported electricity and mutual relations.
In the meeting, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, shared the transportation problems facing Afghan businessmen and asked the ambassador to address them.
Minister Muttaqi, emphasized that the timely issuance of visas for Afghan businessmen would enhance bilateral trade and bring mutual benefits to both countries.
