MAZAR-E-SHARIF: The Iranian Consulate in Balkh vows to strengthen business relations between Kabul and Tehran and promises to address the existing problems.
Officials of the Iranian consulate in Balkh province added that they have good relations with Afghanistan and every day 500 to 600 hundred people receive visas from this consulate.
Hamid Reza Ahmadi, the Iranian Council for Balkh, “While acknowledging that there are some problems between Afghanistan and Iran, said he hopes that these problems will be addressed as soon as possible.”
In a press conference in Mazar-e-Sharif, the Iranian Council in Balkh said: “We do not have any problems in issuing visas and we are conducting our operations normally”.
Mr. Ahmadi says that his country has good relations with the Islamic Emirate and hopes for further strengthening.
Referring to the trade relations between the two countries, he said that there are some problems in this area and it is hoped that they will be addressed soon by the officials of both countries.

This is while flights between Balkh and Iran were started some time ago by the efforts of the consulate.
