India and Pakistan expelled each other’s diplomats

KABUL: The foreign ministries of India and Pakistan have declared two of each other’s diplomats as “unwelcome elements” and ordered their expulsion.

Both ministries have stated that the diplomats have 24 hours to leave the territory of their respective countries.

Initially, New Delhi decided to expel the Pakistani diplomats, after which Islamabad took similar action.

Details regarding the allegations that led to the expulsion of these diplomats have not been disclosed by either country.

This diplomatic tension occurs following a recent military confrontation between the two nations, during which both countries agreed to a ceasefire at the request of the U.S. President.

The Pakistani Ministry of Defense reported that recent Indian attacks resulted in the deaths of 11 military personnel and 40 civilians, with dozens more injured.
