KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir during his visit to the country’s eastern province of Laghman, said special attention would be paid to the development of the province,
Mawlavi Abdul Kabir made the remarks during a gathering with a number of officials, scholars and influential figures of the province, Arg said in a statement yesterday.
Welcoming the Deputy PM, Laghman governor Qari Zainul Abedin briefed about the security and social situation of the province.
“Good coordination has been established between the government institutions and people, and they are cooperating with the Islamic Emirate,” said the governor adding, that addressing their challenges is the government’s priority.
Provincial head of Ulama council of Laghman Mufti Mohammad Salim Haqqani, calling harmony between the system and the people important, said that we have defeated the strong empire in the past and now we are engaged in the reconstruction and economic development of the country.
Deputy PM Mawlavi Kabir said: “As the Islamic Emirate is working for the strengthening of Afghanistan’s peace and stability, is also seeking for the peace and stability of the region and world,” according to the statement.
“The Islamic Emirate is shining in the political field, it also shines in the economic field, said Mawlavi Abdul Kabir adding special development projects will be implemented in Laghman province”.
According to him, efforts will be made in the field of development of lands and forests, and youths will be provided with job opportunities and market will also be provided for the province’s yields.
Referring to the UN meeting in Doha, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Kabir said that the meeting will lead to the development of relations between the world and Afghanistan and emphasized that the real successor of Afghanistan is the Islamic Emirate, which will get it out of its problems with the cooperation of the people.
