KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said on Tuesday that around 8 thousand families received humanitarian aids including cash and foodstuff in five provinces of the country.
The assistance were distributed to destitute families of Maidan Wardak, Nooristan, Paktika, Khost and Takhar provinces, according to the statement.
The humanitarian aids were provided by the World Food Programme (WFP), and distributed to needy families with the cooperation of the related directorates of the ministry, according to the ministry.
Yesterday, it was also reported that humanitarian aid was distributed to over 7,000 families in several provinces.
