TALEQAN: The Takhar provincial police command said in a statement today that the province’s police forces have seized 5,745 kilograms of narcotics.
According to the statement, the narcotics types of opium were placed in two tanker trucks.
The police in Takhar stated that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
It remains unclear where this shipment of narcotics was intended to be delivered.
This comes as Takhar police destroyed over 6,000 kilograms of opium last week.
