Safe drinking water to be provided for over 10,000 people in Samangan

KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said to Radio Omid today that a safe drinking water project worth 31 million Afghanis has been initiated in Samangan province to provide safe drinking water to 10,500 people.

According to the statement, the construction work for this network has begun in the Roy-e-Dow Ab district of Samangan province.

While the ministry did not disclose the funding source for this public welfare project, it mentioned that the construction includes two water reservoirs with a capacity of 128 cubic meters, the installation of 595 water taps, and over 54 kilometers of pipeline.
