Commission emphasizes comprehensive cooperation with returning Afghan migrants

KABUL: The leadership of the Security and Purification Commission, in its regular meeting chaired by Mullah Rahmatullah Najib, has instructed security forces to cooperate comprehensively with Afghan returnees.

The commission said in a statement that the meeting discussed the nature of services provided by security forces to Afghan migrants returning from neighboring countries, emphasizing the importance of serving them in light of Islamic brotherhood and national commitment.

The commission has tasked relevant agencies to ensure comprehensive security and provide necessary facilities for returning migrants upon their arrival.

The goal of this directive is to facilitate a smooth and obstacle-free return for the migrants.

Members of the meeting also evaluated security advancements across the country and expressed confidence in the existing security situation.

Previously, the country’s defense and security forces played a role in ensuring the safety and providing services to Afghan migrants during the extensive and forced expulsions from Pakistan.
