KABUL: Provincial officials of Nangarhar province said today that the security forces have prevented smuggling of historical relics from Afghanistan to outside of the country.
Abdul Jabbar Hekmat, commissioner of Torkham said a person who wanted to smuggle six historical relics to Pakistan through Torkham, has been arrested by the Afghan border security forces.
The officials have not shared details about the nature of the historical monuments.
