KABUL: Pakistan’s Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi, arrived in Kabul today.
Mohammad Sadiq Khan, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan, said in a post on his X account that the plane carrying the minister landed at Kabul International Airport a few hours ago, where he was welcomed by Mullah Mohammad Nabi Omari.
It is anticipated that Mohsin Naqvi will meet and discuss matters with Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, the acting Minister of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan.
According to reports from Pakistani media, discussions with other officials of the Afghan government are also part of Mr. Naqvi’s agenda.
No further details have been provided regarding the topics to be discussed during this visit.
This comes shortly after a Pakistani court rejected requests to halt the forced deportation of Afghan migrants from the country.
