KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs has announced that 20 individuals have been arrested over various crimes in the past 24 hours.
According to a statement from the ministry, the individuals were arrested in connection with robbery, selling counterfeit gold, and illegal weapon trafficking, in Nimroz, Nangarhar, Nuristan, Badakhshan, Herat, Faryab and Samangan provinces.
The Ministry of Interior had previously reported the arrests of dozens of individuals in connection with various crimes in several provinces.
The ministry emphasized that security forces are consistently working to prevent the activities of those involved in theft, kidnapping, and destabilizing security.
