Japan to strengthen relations between Afghanistan and international community

KABUL: In a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Japan ambassador Kuromiya Takayoshi said that his country wants to play key role in strengthening the relations between Afghanistan and the international community, Arg said in a statement yesterday.

Japan ambassador expressed his country’s readiness in rebuilding, developing and raising the capacity of the medical personnel.

“Not only Tokyo but all countries know that Afghanistan has made significant progress in the past two years,” the statement quoted ambassador as saying.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said: “The Islamic Emirate provides services to all Afghans without any discrimination”.

 “The Islamic Emirate believes in dialogue and negotiations and is ready to resolve any issue through negotiations,” the statement quoted Mawlavi Abdul Kabir as saying.

Japan is one of the Asian countries that had key relations with Afghanistan and provided humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, in the past two and a half years.
