Registration of Afghan workers begins; Ministry of Labor issues warning against fraud

KABUL: Following the official announcement of the registration process for Afghan workers to be sent abroad, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has issued a warning against fraud and forgery in this process.

In a statement, the ministry said on Tuesday night that only eligible individuals should be registered and that applicants should not be subjected to fraud or asked to pay more than 100 Afghanis for the registration form.

The statement clarified that no one has the right to charge applicants more than this amount under any circumstances.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs stated that the responsibility lies with the union of major private companies, which must be held accountable.

The ministry urged all citizens to cooperate honestly in this process and to help identify eligible individuals.

The registration of Afghan workers for overseas employment began yesterday based on the decision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
