KABUL: The esteemed Supreme Leader, Mawlavi Hibatullah Akhundzada, during a meeting with scholars from the 15 districts of Kandahar province, has emphasized the importance of scholars fulfilling their heavy responsibilities effectively.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said in a statement today that the leader noted that society consists of two main groups: the scholars and the rulers, with the people following these two factions. He asserted that if both groups are reformed, society and the people will also be reformed.
He urged religious scholars to educate the public about the recent increase in traffic accidents and to advise them not to bring harm upon themselves.
He mentioned that in past regimes, significant investments were made to divert public thoughts and minds from religious issues.
This has led to a situation where Sharia is now perceived as unfamiliar to the people.
The leader emphasized that in the current system, all directives and orders are based on Islamic Sharia.
It is noteworthy that during the nearly four years of the Islamic Emirate’s rule, religious scholars have played a crucial role in formulating and implementing laws and governance in the country.
