KABUL: Israel’s decision to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, approved by its cabinet, has sparked serious reactions from several countries around the world.
International media reported today that countries such as Germany, Italy, Australia, the UK, and New Zealand have condemned this decision through a joint statement.
The foreign ministers of these five Western countries expressed their opposition, stating that the plans announced by the Israeli government pose a risk of violating international humanitarian laws in Gaza.
The Israeli cabinet yesterday morning approved the decision for the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the United Nations Security Council members is expected to be held today (Saturday) at the request of the UK in response to Israel’s decision.
