KABUL: The 9th meeting of the High Council of the Agriculture Development Fund (HCADF) approved the allocation of 2.2 Afghanis as the Islamic financial services to farmers in the upcoming year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock said in a statement Saturday.
According to the statement, the budget for providing Islamic financial services to farmers, livestock owners, and stakeholders in the agriculture and livestock sectors will be spent in 2024.
“The aim of allocating the amount is to promote the progress and development of agriculture, livestock, and expansion of investment in these sectors through Islamic financial services,” said the statement.
It has been said thee agriculture development fund will cover about 5,000 families.
