KABUL: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has expressed condolences and pledged assistance to families affected by last night’s earthquake in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces.
In a post on their X account, UNDP stated: “Our hearts are with the families who lost loved ones and were impacted by last night’s earthquake. We are working with our partner organizations to assess needs and provide emergency assistance.”
The program emphasized its commitment to serving the Afghan people and aims to contribute to creating a safe environment.
