KABUL: In response to the tragic earthquake in eastern Afghanistan, the European Union has expressed solidarity with the families of the victims.
The EU Delegation in Afghanistan in a statement said today, EU humanitarian partners are actively present in the earthquake-affected areas, providing essential assistance to the victims.
The statement reads: “The European Union extends its heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the recent devastating earthquake in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces.”
The EU Delegation emphasized its commitment to standing by the victims of this disaster.
Previously, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) also assured its support for helping earthquake survivors return to normal life.
