KUNDUZ: The police command of Kunduz province said in a statement that an individual has been arrested with 105.5 kilograms of opium in the outskirts of the province.
According to the statement, the drugs were discovered in the “Chowgha” area of Khanabad district during a police checkpoint operation.
The statement states that the shipment had been loaded in a Swift-type car in Takhar province and was intended for trafficking to the center of Kunduz province, discovered and seized by the counter-narcotics police personnel of the province
Recently, there has been an increase in the seizure of drug shipments across the country, particularly in northeastern provinces.
