KABUL: The law regarding the sale, distribution, and issuance of building permits for government land has been ratified based on a special decree from the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The office of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said on Tuesday, that the law aims to regulate the distribution of state-owned lands designated for housing and commerce, which have some basic infrastructure established according to urban planning.
According to the statement, this law was drafted by a committee within the Administrative Affairs Office and has been ratified by the leader of the Islamic Emirate.
The law consists of a preamble, four chapters, six sections, and 38 articles.
This comes as the process of drafting and ratifying laws continues with the aim of ensuring lawful governance in the country.
