KABUL: Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, the Minister of Water and Energy, stated that religious scholars, Mujahideen, and the people play a crucial role in the survival of the Islamic system in the country.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Water and Energy on Friday night, while speaking at a ceremony commemorating the martyrs of the 20-year revolution in the Sayed Karam district of Paktia province, the Minister emphasized the need for complete unity among various segments of society.
The statement noted that Mullah Mansoor addressed the responsibilities and duties of scholars, Mujahideen, and the people for the survival and strengthening of the Islamic system.
He also described the current Islamic system in the country as the result of the blood of thousands of “martyrs, the suffering of orphans, widows, and captives.”
He emphasized that everyone has a duty to defend the current system with their lives.
It is noteworthy that over the past four years, religious scholars and Mujahideen have played a fundamental role in advancing governance in the country.
