Mawlavi Abdul Kabir expresses concerns over treatment of Afghan migrants and military actions by Pakistan

KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the Minister of Refugees and Repatriations, has expressed concerns regarding the mistreatment of Afghan migrants residing in Pakistan and the military actions of this country against Afghanistan during a meeting with a delegation from Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami party.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations today, the Minister emphasized that the mistreatment of Afghan migrants and military actions against Afghanistan should not be repeated.
He noted that Kabul and Islamabad must coexist peacefully, indicating that the stability in the region has been a blessing for the people of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the delegation from Jamaat-e-Islami stated that Kabul and Islamabad should prioritize dialogue to resolve their issues.
They also underscored the necessity of strengthening relations between Afghan and Pakistani scholars.
This comes at a time when the process of detaining and forcibly deporting Afghan migrants from Pakistan continues.
