KABUL: A number of Chinese investors in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar, have expressed their interest in investing in Afghanistan’s marble mines, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
In the meeting, Chinese investors stated that they wanted to invest in Afghanistan’s marble mines.
They [Chinese investors] expressed optimism about the facilities provided by the Islamic Emirate in attracting investments.
Meanwhile, the acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum praised the Chinese investors interest in investing in the country’s marble mines.
Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar added that his led ministry is ready for any kind of cooperation in accordance to the mining’s laws.
It is worth mentioning that Chinese investors have made significant investments in Afghanistan mines in the past as well.
