KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), during a remote press conference stated, today that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is an internal matter of Pakistan and not related to Afghanistan.
He noted that the TTP is an age-old issue in Pakistan, arising before the recent reestablishment of the IEA, and attributed its emergence to the Pakistani military’s actions against the people of Pakistan.
He called the establishment of the TTP as occurring in 2002.
The IEA spokesperson emphasized that as a result of military operations by Pakistan, thousands of individuals have been displaced from their homes.
He reiterated that all the matters are internal issues for Pakistan and have no connection to Afghanistan.
The remarks came as the two days of talks between the Afghan and Pakistani delegations ended without results.
