KABUL: Shaikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani, the Minister of Information and Culture, during his visit to the National Museum emphasized the importance of protecting and preserving historical and cultural artifacts, according to a statement from the Ministry of Information and Culture today.
Highlighting the significance of the National Museum as one of the most important institutions in the country and commending its activities in preserving historical and archaeological artifacts, the statement said.
Mawlavi Sibghatullah Abid, the head of the National Museum, provided comprehensive information about the activities of the institution and the artifacts housed within it.
He noted that the National Museum is one of the largest historical and cultural centers in the country, containing thousands of valuable historical and cultural items.
This marks Shaikh Shir Ahmad Haqani’s first visit to the National Museum since his appointment as Minister of Information and Culture.
