LASHKARGAH: The Personnel of the 215th Azm Army Corps stationed in Helmand province set fire to a load of low-quality medicines seized from 16 trucks.
The media office of the 215th Army Corps reported on Saturday night that the medications were recently discovered and seized by personnel of the Islamic National Army in the Bahramcha district of Helmand province.
The statement mentioned that among the burned medicines were substandard and expired drugs that were intended to be smuggled into the country.
This comes amid reports that over the past week, 238 trucks carrying expired goods have been stopped in the Beharamcha district.
