KABUL: The High Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues said in a statement today that 3,528 Afghan migrants have been forcibly expelled from Pakistan in a single day.
According to the statement, these individuals were expelled yesterday (Saturday) through the Torkham crossing in Nangarhar province, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, and Bahramcha in Helmand province.
3,124 were deported via Torkham, 404 through Spin Boldak, and 170 through Bahramcha, said the statement, adding that they were greeted by the registration and reception committee.
The statement also reflects the daily activities of various committees of the commission, including finance, health services, telecommunications, and transport.
The High Commission for Addressing Refugees Issues manages the return of Afghan migrants from Pakistan daily at the mentioned crossings.
