Nearly 350 Afghans released from Pakistani prisons and returned home

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations said in a statement today that 345 Afghan nationals were released from prisons in Pakistan.

According to the statement, the individuals were detained by police in various regions of Pakistan.

The statement quoted the Spin Boldak Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation from Kandahar province, indicating that the released individuals had spent up to two months in Pakistani prisons.

Following their release, the Afghan citizens entered the country via the Spin Boldak crossing.

After registration, they were transferred to their respective home regions.

Previously, Afghan citizens have also been released from prisons in various countries, including Iran, Pakistan, Oman, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and several others.
