KABUL: Qari Mohammad Fasihuddin Fitrat, Chief of the Armed Forces of Afghanistan, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the International Defense Exhibition (DIMDEX) held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, the Ministry of National Defense said in a statement today.
According to the statement, DIMDEX is one of the key international events in the defense industry, held annually in Doha, Qatar, with the participation of high-ranking military officials from various countries around the world.
During the event, Fitrat was accompanied by Suhail Shaheen, the Afghan ambassador to Doha.
He departed for Doha at the head of a delegation to attend the exhibition’s opening on Saturday.
Last year, Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Minister of National Defense, attended the DIMDEX exhibition with Qari Mohammad Fasihuddin Fitrat accompanying him.
