KABUL: The Ministry of National Defense has announced that personnel from the 201st Khalid bin Walid Army Corps have discovered and seized a quantity of weapons and ammunition in Laghman province.
In a statement released today, the Ministry of Defense mentioned that the personnel of the army corps during an operation discovered and seized 226 boxes of various ammunition, including shotgun shells, Zikowik, M240, and M16 rounds, along with some weapons and military equipment, in the “Mil-Dara” area of Ali Shing district in Laghman province.
It is worth mentioning that a weapons and ammunition depot was previously uncovered by security forces in the Andarab village of Laghman province.
