KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that officials from Bangladesh are ready to regularly and sustainably export medicines and standard medical products to Afghanistan.
According to the ministry’s statement today, Bangladeshi officials expressed their readiness during the 30th International Exhibition of Bangladesh held in Dhaka to Mawlavi Ahmadullah Zahid, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry.
They emphasized that Bangladeshi pharmaceutical products meet international standards and can fulfill Afghanistan’s needs in this regard.
The statement noted that the Afghan delegation considers this readiness important for the needs of the country’s health sector, describing the economies of Kabul and Dhaka as complementary.
Officials from Afghanistan and Bangladesh have agreed to expand their relations from friendship to a practical economic partnership.
It is noteworthy that the delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, led by Mawlavi Ahmadullah Zahid, visited various sections of the 30th International Exhibition in Bangladesh, particularly focusing on the medical and textile sectors.
